This handy pocket reference is a concise book to be used for spotting symptoms, issuing proper tests, making referrals when necessary and suggesting treatment options. It distils the most up-to-date information on virtually every disease encountered by rheumatologists and others who treat patients with rheumatologic diseases. Especially designed for the busy clinician this book allows  the reader to have a complete and handy resource during clinical practice. The reader can quickly and effortlessly review topics, making their working day easier.
Reviews
The kindle version of the pocket primer of rheumatology combines the worst aspects of the kindle while losing the best aspects of the paper page. Electronic media need not be restricted in content and if complicated topics require a lot of text, it really doesn't matter. The pocket primer makes use of clear diagrams and avoids lengthy text in order to be more portable. By making the pocket primer suitable for the kindle the diagrams are no longer easily readable, and the absence of complete problem descriptions in order to minimize the size, is a distinct disadvantage. A kindle is probably more portable than the book which makes this book an especially poor kindle product. The primer should have been made kindle accessible and the pocket primer reserved for those who like paper books.
