Reviews
This book has good content but what a cheap company for not including listening CD's! How silly is this? How are you supposed to get practice? Reading the scripts isn't the same. I recommend BARRON's 2009 AP Spanish Language Prep because there are plenty of difficult audio practice activities that will challenge you and really prepare you well for the AP test. Don't BUY this book unless you just want to practice reading comprehension.
Reviews
Don't buy this book unless you only want more written practice activities and you think the price justifies it. THERE ARE NO CDs for the listening or speaking sections so you can not do those sections. What is a student supposed to do, read the conversations and interact, read the dialogs and answer questions? It's not the same thing. I'm sorry that is just stupid and I am stupid for not reading the fine print. How cheap can a publishing company get? I have not found any CDs in existance, as far as I know they cannot be purchased separately. That being said, the practice activities are ok and this book would supplement another practice book if you run out of reading or grammar activities. It is nice and short and doesn't waste a hundred pages on explanation that no one reads anyway. Good luck getting a five without practicing the listening and speaking sections, I guess they left that out of their five steps.

On second thought, I strongly recommend this book for Latinos whose native language is Spanish or who speak Spanish at home or in their neighborhoods. Why would you need to practicet the listening and speaking anyway? In that case, this book is cheaper than others and just focuses on the academics.
