Reviews
This is a very helpful resource to enable the beginning to immediate Excel user to apply some of the more advanced analytical tools and methods Excel provides. It takes you step by step through several exercises/projects in each chapter to build your skills and confidence.
Since the exercises are very practical, this book can also serve as a valuable reference. When you need to apply some techniques, formulas or functions that you may not have used in a while, you may forget a few things. The exercises you work through in the book can definitely help you out. Also, if you're still using Excel97 or Excel 2000, you will still find this book just as valuable as if you were using Excel 2002. Just about all of the exercises can be applied in either version. The author does point out where some features or methods might vary between the different versions.
